Andries qualified as a chartered accountant and has spent most of his working career in financial services. He joined the Citadel Group in 1998 and has played an intricate role in the acquisition, development and growth of key Citadel Group subsidiaries. He is a director of Citadel Global since 2011. He previously held positions at Deloitte Private Clients, Alexander Forbes and PwC.

BIANCA BOTES

BCom (Economics), RPE, SAIFM

Bianca brought her passion for financial markets and exceptional client advice to the Citadel Group in 2016, after spending four years in the treasury and foreign currency trading environment. She began her career as a treasury consultant and later became head of treasury for Exchange Capital.

The forex market is often regarded as something of a black box, one which many businesses find challenging to navigate. Bianca’s role at Citadel Global enables her to assist clients in navigating this terrain, enhancing the treasury function and, ultimately, adding value to each client’s overall business. 

PAUL MULLER

BEcon (Honours), SAFEX (JSE)

Paul joined Citadel Group in April 2017 following the acquisition of Impex Treasury Solutions in April 2017, a business he started in 2004. His roots may be firmly in the Western Cape, but Paul travelled abroad after completing his honours degree at the University of Stellenbosch in 1995, moving to London where he began his career in banking. After two years in London, Paul joined Standard Corporate and Investment Bank in Johannesburg, on the forex trading desk. Paul later joined the Standard Risk and Treasury Management Services start up, where he gained valuable experience in currency risk management, before trying his hand trading currencies for Nedcor Investment Bank.

PAUL COETZEE

BsC, SAIFM (Financial Markets)

Paul joined the Citadel Group in April 2017, following Citadel’s acquisition of Impex Treasury Solutions. After completing his studies, Paul began his working career in the agricultural sector as a consultant in the fertiliser, commodities and foliar feeding market. From 1999 to 2006 he was managing director of Ocean Agri Science. In 2006 he joined Impex as a marketer and dealer and, in 2008, was appointed to the role of director.

KOBUS VENTER

BCom Honours (Accounting and Business Management), CA (SA)

Kobus is a chartered accountant with extensive insights into the inner workings of the strategy, execution, risk management and hedging elements of delivering effective treasury solutions. Kobus joined Citadel Group in 2019 having previously worked as a partner in an international Big Four management consulting firm for 19 years. During this time his particular focus was on multidisciplinary transformational projects.  Kobus currently oversees the technologies that enable our solutions, continuously improving and automating the interfaces with clients, banks and trading platforms.
